This Big Message Display Board, meant to be employed in public places such as traffic intersections, shopping malls is an embedded system interfaced to a GSM Modem. Any user may simply send an SMS in a particular format to display messages on this 16 Row x 96 Column (Number of columns extendable) LED Matrix board which features a variety of scrolling types (such as slide-from-left, slide-from-right, slide-from-top, slide-from-bottom, scroll-down etc.). A GUI Based Application running on a Host Computer Interfaced to a GSM Modem enables the user to send multiple messages to multiple display boards remotely using SMSes. All these messages and various phone numbers may be stored in a database which can be accessed by the application.
